Book your child on a ‘Step up to Secondary’ day to make starting secondary school exciting not intimidating for your child.

Surrey Outdoor Learning and Development (SOLD) have partnered up with The Ashcombe School - your child’s new school - to offer an exciting day of outdoor activities to get to know their new cohort of year 7’s

You are booking at: High Ashurst Outdoor Education Centre, Headley Lane, RH5 6DQ on 28 August 2026 from 9.30am to 3.30pm.

SOLD staff will be on site all day to look after the group.

What to bring:
- Packed lunch - no nuts please, plus a water bottle to refill with water throughout the day
- Please bring an old pair of trainers (no flip-flops, no Crocs and no open toe/back shoes)
- Please wear weather appropriate clothing (warm jumper, t-shirt covering shoulders, long trousers, waterproof clothes, sun hat)
- Sun cream (if appropriate)  

Cost: £45 per day
Childcare vouchers are accepted on bookings made at least 2 weeks in advance.
