Gold DofE Residential (Week) - Traditional Arts and Crafts with Outdoor Activities - High Ashurst

Traditional Arts and Crafts with Outdoor Activities at High Ashurst

5 Day Residential Course

Arts and Crafts including outdoor activities at High Ashurst Outdoor centre, RH5 6DQ.

Our Arts and Crafts residential programme offers a vibrant mix of creative sessions and outdoor adventures. Summer programmes focus on outdoor creative activities, while the October residential provides a warm, cosy indoor experience.

Each year, our programme is refreshed, but it typically includes a variety of arts and crafts such as candle making, quilling, creating pamper products, and designing seasonal table decorations.

Alongside the creative activities, participants will also take part in outdoor challenges such as high ropes and team-building courses, encouraging physical activity, resilience and cooperation.

You will have the chance to meet other Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award participants and enjoy a range of exciting, challenging and fun activities. Throughout the course, you will develop interpersonal and practical skills, explore your own interests in crafting and outdoor adventure, and gain confidence in a new environment.

A key element of the programme is the opportunity to build new relationships. You will live and work closely with others, forming new connections and working as part of a team. For this reason, the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award recommends that participants only know one other person on the same course.

All meals, accommodation and equipment are included.

Please note: A minimum of eight applicants is required for the course to run. This number must be reached at least two weeks before the start date.
