Gold DofE Residential (Week) - Traditional Arts and Crafts with Outdoor Activities - High Ashurst

Gold DofE Residential (Week) - Traditional Arts and Crafts with Outdoor Activities - High Ashurst

Tradtional Arts and Crafts with Outdoor Activities at High Ashurst

5 Day Residential Course

Arts and Crafts including outdoor activities at High Ashurst Outdoor centre, RH5 6DQ.

Our arts and crafts residential program is a blend of creative activities and outdoor adventures.

Each year, the program is refreshed, but we aim to offer arts and crafts such as candle making, quilling art, pumpkin carving for Halloween, and autumnal table decorations.

In addition to the artistic pursuits, outdoor activities such as high ropes courses and challenge courses provide opportunities for physical challenges and teamwork.

Participants will meet other Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award candidates and experience a range of exciting, challenging and fun outdoor activities.

During the course, you will have the opportunity to develop a range of interpersonal skills and activity skills developing you own interests in crafting and adventurous activities.

An important part of the course is that it provides the opportunity to meet new people in an unfamiliar environment.
You will be living and working with others, building new relationships and working as part of a team.
It is for this reason that the Duke of Edinburgh Award recommend that
only a small minority of those taking part should be known to the participant (ie participants should only know one other person on the same course).

All meals, accommodation and equipment are included.

NB We will need a minimum of 8 applicants, two weeks before the start date, for this course to run.

To book this course click on the highlighted date that you are interested in, a box will appear below which will show live availability and cost.

We do not accept Childcare Vouchers for this course.
