First Aid (REC) Level 2 - Thames Young Mariners

Course takes place at Thames Young Mariners, Ham, TW10 7RX.

Course information:

This is a 16 hour practical course, taught over 2 days, provided by Rescue Emergency Care (REC).

This comprehensive course meets the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines. The course outlines first aid for people who work remotely in the outdoors, where advanced medical aid is not nearby, and evacuation may be required. However, the course is wholly appropriate for those who live and work in urban areas as well.

This course is recognised as appropriate training by various national governing bodies, including Royal Yachting Association (RYA), British Canoeing, MBLA, MLTUK, ML Summer and Winter Awards, Single Pitch Award, British Orienteering and most others.
