This is an internationally recognised 2 day Instructor course:

Accredited by AALA, NCFE and ABCC. This award qualifies instructors to lead groups off road on way marked tracks below 600 meters and within close proximity of aid. Typically; cycle tracks, forestry, parks, canal tow paths.Pre requisites:

Previous mountain bike experience
Minimum age 18
A full suspension or hardtail mountain bike in full working order.

Please also note to validate the award candidates must lead with:
A valid (16hr) Outdoor First aid certificate
Personal / company activity provider insurance.

Operating above 600m (including wilderness rides) the award must be backed up with a relevant ML Award or approved prior learning for leading groups at altitude.
