Outdoor Lead Teacher 1 Day Courses.

Information for all modules:

Many schools and other educational settings are looking to improve their outdoor learning provision, and very often, there are one or two people in an organisation leading the way. Our accredited Outdoor Lead Teacher course, and accompanying modules, are there to help those wanting to lead outdoor learning in their organisation.

Although the modules were created with the OLT course in mind, they would also suit anyone looking to improve specific skills and knowledge within outdoor learning. Unlike the OLT course, the modules will not be accredited but should provide a valuable experience through practice, discussion, and planning exercises. Participants will spend a full day at an education centre amongst like-minded people, building skills to share with colleagues and those under their care.

The three modules will cover the following –

1) Grounds Development for Outdoor Learning

2) Teaching Fire Lighting and Woodland Activities

3) Running Team Building and Adventurous Activities on Your Site

The first run of these three courses is ready to book this Spring, with plans in motion for a second and third run in Summer and Winter.
