Lowland Expedition Leader Training Course (LEL3) - Intensive Course

Course takes place at High Ashurst, near Dorking, RH5 6DQ.

Course Information:

This course is an intensive instruction, meeting the 70 hour training requirements for the Level 3 Qualification.

Please note: The LEL 3 assessment is not included in this training course. It must be booked and paid for separately once participants have completed their 30 hours consolodation experience.

Prerequisites:

  • Minimum age: 18yrs
  • Leadership Skills Foundation registration fee (included in course booking cost)
  • Some camping and expedition experience
  • Map work to the level of NNAS (National Navigation Award Scheme) Bronze Navigator Award - (not the award itself)
  • First Aid Certificate advisable
  • You are expected to have an appropriate level of fitness being able to carry a full pack over 3 days expedition
