CIEH Level 2 Award Food Safety in Catering. This popular qualification is required by any persons working in a catering environment where food is cooked and handled. The course will cover the importance of food safety, knowledge of systems and procedures involved, controlling risks and be to be confident in delivering food hygienically and safely.
There are no pre requisites to attend this course. This is a one day course and assessment is by multiple choice paper at the end of the day. It is recommended that this qualification is refreshed every three years.
