Lowland Expedition Leader Training Course (LEL3) - Henley Fort

Location: Course takes place at Henley Fort, Guildford, GU2 4RH.

Upcoming course schedule

3rd February 2026: Online introductory evening (6.00pm - 8.30pm)

14th - 15th February 2026: Training Weekend (2 days and 1 night camping)

30th March 2026: Training day (9.30am - 4.30pm)

31st March - 2nd April 2026: (3 days and 2 nights camping)

Prerequisites:

Minimum age: 18yrs

Leadership Skills Foundation registration fee (included in course booking cost)

Some camping and expedition experience

Map work to the level of NNAS (National Navigation Award Scheme) Bronze Navigator Award - (not the award itself)

First Aid Certificate advisable

You are expected to have an appropriate level of fitness being able to carry a full pack over 3 days expedition
