The National Curriculum Outdoors CPD Event at Henley Fort

A free CPD event for primary school teachers to support learning in the outdoors.

Friday 7 May 2021 at Henley Fort.

Please select Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 when booking.

The day will be based upon the recently published set of books 'The National Curriculum Outdoors', that are a brilliant guide to teaching outside.

Outdoors is the safest environment to be in during the current pandemic, and this day will help you to take your children's curriculum into the outdoors.

The free teacher CPD day at Henley Fort will run with small group sizes.  Teachers will be put into their group as soon as they arrive on site and will remain with them throughout the day.  Groups will stay separate during the event and we will encourage social distancing at all times.  The entire day will take place outdoors and only use sheltered space if the weather requires it.  Hand sanitiser will be provided for each group and face coverings can be worn by participants if required.  Specific toilet facilities will be allocated to groups during the day and additional regular cleaning will be in place for those facilities.

Please bring a packed lunch and a reusable tea/coffee cup.
